Unfortunately, I purchased 1,250 of Berger's.338 Lapua bullets at a premium price because of the advertised ballistic coefficient and there's nothing in this manual that pertains to that caliber Berger. For example, some shooters do not understand why there are various jackets and choose the wrong one. My shot on the second day felt too good, but it wasn’t as big as the first day.

I am loading for a.223 benchrest rifle with Berger's.80 match bullets. Seems Berger always recommends a lighter load than all other manuals. Berger Max load for Varget is 22.2 grs, while Hodgdon recommends Max at.25 grs. Hodgdon does not have a load for the Berger bullet. Bullets Powder Valley is your Reloading Superstore.
